Congress MLAs son granted bail in assault case

Ben):Mohammed Nalpad,son of NA Harris,Shantinagar Congress MLA has been today granted bail by the single bench of the state high court.Justice John Michael Kunha pronounced the judgement this morning.The accused was in jail for 116 days for being denied bail earlier from several other courts.
The prime accused in the assault case on Vidwat,son of a city based industrialist has been granted bail on conditions of providing a bond of Rs two lakhs and two sureties.He has also been directed not to influence the witnesses and submit his passport to the court.He has been instructed to take prior permission of the court before moving out of the city.
The incident of alleged assault had stirred a controversy following the announcement of general elections and had created a controversy on the social networking sites raising hue and cry over safety to law abiding citizens.There were also pro and counter arguments on giving NA Harris the party ticket to re contest from Shantinagar. However he not only got the ticket but also returned to the Assembly.
