BS Yeddyurappa takes oath as 24th Chief Minister of the state

Ben : Bookanakere Siddalingappa Yeddyurappa of the Bharatiya Janata Party today took oath of office as the 24th Chief Minister of the state here.He took the oath in the name of God and farmers of the state.
The swearing in ceremony at the glass house of the Raj Bhavan was over within ten minutes as only BS Yeddyurappa alone took the oath of office and secrecy and no one else took oath as ministers of his cabinet. He was found wearing a white safari the colour which he is very fond of and always seen only wearing white.
Today's safari is said to be gifted by a well wisher who came with it early in the morning to his house Dhavalagiri at Dollars colony layout of Sanjaynagar in the city after getting the puja done by priests. He was also found wearing a green shawl on his shoulders. He also prayed in the Radhakrishna temple before leaving for Raj Bhavan.
This is the third time the Lingayat strong man is taking over the reigns of the state. For the first time his tenure was as short lived as a mere week since HD Kumaraswamy of the Janata Dal Secular avoided extending support as agreed upon before forming an alliance government on 20-20 months basis.
As a result of such fall out the government collapsed leading to general elections which saw emergence of BJP emerging into a single largest but still falling short of the required 113 numbers for slender majority. But luckily six independents switched over sides in favour of the BJP thus ensuring a BJP government and 'Operation Lotus' helped the party to complete the five years term.
Then BS Yeddyurappa remained the chief minister for around three and odd years and had to quit the post following his imprisonment in a denotification case.Though this is the third time he is becoming chief minister the perennial ache of a comfortable majority continues to haunt the saffron party.
Union Ministers Prakash Jawdekar,DV Sadanandagowda,HN Ananthkumar and many BJP leaders were present on the occasion.Soon after taking the oath of office and secrecy BS Yeddyurappa went to his office in Vidhana Soudha and before entering he bowed down and saluted the foot steps.
