RJDs Suday wins Jehanabad, BJPs Rinki wins Bhabhua assy seat

Patna: RJD candidate Suday Yadav and BJP candidate Rinki Rani Pandey today won from Jehanabad and Bhabhua assembly seats respectively in byelections for both the seats.
State election office sources said RJD candidate Suday Yadav defeated JD (U) candidate Abhiram Sharma by a margin of 35,036 votes in Jehanabad assembly seat.
BJP candidate Rinki Rani Pandey defeated her nearest rival Congress candidate Shambhu Singh Patel by a margin of over 16,000 votes in Bhabhua assembly seat.
Mr Yadav and Ms Pandey retained the seats for RJD and BJP respectively. Jehanabad was earlier represented by RJD MLA Mundrika Singh Yadav while Bhabhua was represented by BJP MLA Anand Bhushan Pandey and byelections were held following their deaths. Suday Yadav is the son of Mundrika Singh Yadav while Rinki Pandey is the wife of Anand Bhushan Pandey.
