JD(S) in poll alliance talks with Sharad Pawars NCP

Bengaluru, In its bid to forge a third political force to fight against the BJP and Congress in Karnataka, Janata Dal(S) will tie up with other regional parties like Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP) and Sharad Pawar-led National Congress Party (NCP).
JD(S) has already tied up with the BSP and its State unit President H D Kumaraswamy met NCP President Sharad Pawar in the city on Thursday and explored the possibility of having a truck during the elections to combat the two major contesting parties -- Congress and the BJP.
JD(S) had indicated that it was ready to support NCP candidates in five to seven seats in North Karnataka region.
