Cloud of confusion over corridor of faith

New Delhi, A cloud of confusion prevailed over Kartarpur Corridor, especially in terms of security issues amid 'contradictory statements' emanating from Pakistan, where authorities are yet to clear the list of first batch of pilgrims, including VIPs, traveling to pay obeisance at the Gurudwara there. Less than two days before the inauguration of the Kartarpur corridor, MEA spokesman Raveesh Kumar told reporters on Thursday that-"There are conflicting reports coming in from Pakistan....". The comments came shortly after the Pakistan army said passports will be required for Indian pilgrims to visit Kartarpur Sahib Gurudwara, the final resting place of the founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak.
