UP CM offers prayers at Hanuman setu temple in Lucknow

Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached the Hanuman Setu temple in the Uttar Pradesh capital on Tuesday, where he worshiped and took God's blessings. Mr Adityanath also recited 'Hanuman chalisa' in the temple. The Chief Minister is likely to go to Gorakhpur later in the day and stay there for next two days. Surprisingly, just after the CM left from the Hanuman Setu temple, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh reached there to invoke Lord's blessings before filing nomination papers from Lucknow Lok Sabha seat later in the day. On Monday evening, EC barred Mr Adityanath from campaigning for 72 hours and BSP president Mayawati for 48 hours for violation of model code of conduct from 0600 hours on Tuesday. Later, the Commission also banned SP leader Mohammad Azam Khan for 72 hours and Union Minister Maneka Gandhi for 48 hours for the same reason from 1000 hours on Tuesday.
