UP: SBSP snap ties with NDA; to contest on all 39 LS seats

Lucknow, ) After snapping ties with NDA, Suheldeo Bharatiya Samaj Party(SBSP) president and Uttar Pradesh cabinet minister Om Prakash Rajbhar on Tuesday announced to contest on all the 39 seats in the state going to polls in the fifth, sixth and seventh phase of the Lok Sabha elections. The party, which announced that though they have snapped ties with the NDA in the Lok Sabha polls, their cooperation with the BJP government in the state would continue, has announced candidates against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Varanasi and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in Lucknow. SBSP has fielded one Siddharth Rajbhar from Varanasi seat and Babban Rajbhar from the Lucknow seat. The party which has announced all the 39 candidates, has fielded the Rajbhar and other most backward community in majority of the seats. Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, Rajbhar blamed the BJP for ignoring his party which had supported him in the 2017 Assembly polls in the state which led to win of 125 seats from Poorwanchal, which is a record for any party. "We still want to contest the 2019 polls in alliance with the BJP.

But instead of supporting us, they insulted me and even proposed me to contest on BJP symbol from Ghosi seat in Poorwanchal," he said, while adding that he had worked tirelessly for 16 years to strengthen the party and now the BJP wants to finish it. He was also peeved over BJP's alliance with Apna Dal and Bharatiya Samaj Dal and ignoring the SBSP." Apna Dal was given two seats two months back but BJP insulted us," he alleged. The SBSP president minced no words to criticise the BJP and held them responsible for ignoring the rights and plights of the most backward community in the state. " BJP will certainly learn a good lesson in this elections for ignoring the most backward community," he said while appealing to the community to support his candidate so that they can raise their issue in Parliament. Asked about his resignation drama from the state cabinet for the past few months, the UP Cabinet Minister said the CM was not giving him time to resign as the UP minister. "I carry the resignation letter always in my pocket," he said.up: SBSP snap ties with NDA; to contest on all 39 LS seatsUP: SBSP snap ties with NDA; to contest on all 39 LS seatsLucknow, Apr 16(UNI) After snapping ties with NDA, Suheldeo Bharatiya Samaj Party(SBSP) president and Uttar Pradesh cabinet minister Om Prakash Rajbhar on Tuesday announced to contest on all the 39 seats in the state going to polls in the fifth, sixth and seventh phase of the Lok Sabha elections. The party, which announced that though they have snapped ties with the NDA in the Lok Sabha polls, their cooperation with the BJP government in the state would continue, has announced candidates against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Varanasi and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in Lucknow.SBSP has fielded one Siddharth Rajbhar from Varanasi seat and Babban Rajbhar from the Lucknow seat. The party which has announced all the 39 candidates, has fielded the Rajbhar and other most backward community in majority of the seats.Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, Rajbhar blamed the BJP for ignoring his party which had supported him in the 2017 Assembly polls in the state which led to win of 125 seats from Poorwanchal, which is a record for any party.
