Nation under Modi moving towards fascism: Kejri

New Delhi, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday alleged that the nation was treading on the path of fascism under the blind lust for power of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mr Kejriwal reacted after a video surfaced on social media on Friday evening showing goons allegedly assaulting three to four people belonging to a particular community in Bhondsi area, Gurugram, on the festival of colours, which also heralds the onset of spring. 'Hitler's goons used to beat up people, murder them and police used to file the case against those who were killed,' Mr Kejriwal tweeted. The Aam Aadmi Party chieftain alleged that the Prime Minister was walking on the path of Nazi leader Adolf Hitler. 'Modiji is also doing this for power, he is walking on the path of Hitler. But Modi supporters are not able to see where the natin is going,' the Chief Minister tweeted. 'Their party has many hooligans. It is the duty of every Indian to save both the nation and religion from them.' Mr Kejriwal also alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party had misused the Delhi Police to get his public meeting, scheduled for later today, cancelled. Police, Mr Kejriwal asserted, has denied permission for the rally. He questioned how many BJP rallies were denied permission by police in Delhi in the past five years. 'BJP gets my public rally cancelled today thro police. Police denies permission. How many BJP rallies were denied permission by police in Delhi in last 5 yrs?'
