Sheikh Hasina leaves for Kolkata to watch India-Bagladesh Test match

Dhaka, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left Dhaka for Kolkata on Friday morning to watch the second Test match of a two-match Test series between Bangladesh and India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi invited his Bangladesh counterpart Sheikh Hasina to attend the day-night Test match which will be played with pink ball at Eden Gardens today. Ms Hasina and her entourage departed Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) by a special flight at 1015 am, the Daily Star reported. The flight is scheduled to land at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport Kolkata at 10:40am (Indian time). The Bangladesh Prime Minister will go to the Eden Gardens Stadium at about 1230pm (local time) where she, along with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, will ring the ceremonial bell for the opening of the test match. Ms Hasina is scheduled to depart from Kolkata by Biman Bangladesh Airlines' Special flight at 10pm (local time) and land at Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) at 1130pm (Bangladesh time).
