DMRCs winter gift: partial opening of Magenta Line from Dec

New Delhi: Come December, the Phase III project of Delhi Metro Rail Cooperation, connecting Botanical Garden to Janakpuri West, will partially be open for public, bringing with it a lot of cheers to South Delhi residents, who will be now able to reach Noida in less than an hour.
According to a Senior DMRC official, work was going on a war footing to start a small stretch of around 12 km, covering a total of nine stations from Botanical Garden to Kalkaji, before December.
He said a variety of technology advancements will be introduced in the Magenta Line, which, along with Pink Line, connecting Majlis Park to Shiv Vihar, will mark the completion of Phase III project, most probably by March, this year.
