Man rescued after threatening to commit suicide in Delhi

New Delhi: A man who allegedly threatened to commit suicide by jumping from a terrace of a hotel was rescued, the police said on Monday. The incident took place on Sunday when one Sandeep who was staying at a private hotel in west Delhi's Hari Nagar reached the roof and threatened to commit suicide, but was rescued. According to police, it happened after he had an argument with his wife with whom he was staying at the hotel. They had arrived from Ahmadabad and checked in to the hotel where around an year ago they got married.

Sandeep alias Armaan Malik''s video threatening to commit suicide went viral on social media. In one of the videos he has alleged that he has been framed by his first wife namely Payal and her family in an alleged rape case. According to police, some case is pending against him in the Nihal Vihar Police Station. The man was handed over to police and taken to the Nihal Vihar Police Station, where further questioning is underway.
