BJP forces adjournment in UP Assembly over L&O

Lucknow :  Uttar Pradesh Assembly was adjourned, suspending the question hour, today following pandemondium by the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) members over the law and order and other issues. Speaker Mata Prasad Pandey tried to pacify the BJP members who were squatting in the well of the House so that the House could be run smoothly, but they relent to hear his request. Later he adjourned the House till 1220 thus the question hour was washed out. The BJP members sat on dharna in the House before the schedule time and when Speaker entered the Assembly they started raising slogans and showing banners and posters about the law and order and other issues. The protesting members also tore papers and flew them on the air. The BSP members also stood up on their chairs and leader of the opposition Gaya Charan Dinker too asked the Speaker to suspend all the agenda and take up the issue of law and order. Surprisingly, nor the Chief Minister or State Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mohammad Azam Khan was present during the entire ruckus. Yesterday, the BSP, BJP and Congress members were forcefully evicted from the House after they were creating pandemonium in the House. UP Assembly would be approving the supplementary budget to the tune of Rs 25,347 crore this afternoon which was tabled by Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav yesterday.
