Ballabhgarh lynching: Govt calls it 'unfortunate'; says authorities will take appropriate action

New Delhi:  Terming the Ballabhgarh lynching incident 'unfortunate', the government today said the authorities concerned will be taking appropriate action in the matter. Sixteen-year-old Junaid Khan, who was returning back to his village in Haryana's Ballabhgarh from Delhi, was stabbed to death in a train last week by a mob who reportedly made a slur on him over eating beef. Reacting to the incident here, Union Information and Broadcasting Minister M Venkaiah Naidu said, 'These kind of acts cannot be tolerated and Junaid incident was unfortunate. Such kinds of incidents are unacceptable.'
