Amar Singh's assets rose by around 40 pc in last 2 years


 Lucknow :  Samajwadi Party candidate Amar Singh's assets have rose by around 40 per cent in just two years. Mr Singh had declared his assets of Rs 96.16 crore in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, when he contested from Fatehpur Sikri seat on RLD ticket. However, in the biennial polls for Rajya Sabha, Mr Singh filed his nominations as Samajwadi candidate, along with six others today. The total assets of Mr Singh and his wife has gone up to Rs 131 crore in just two years ,a rise of around 40 per cent . Mr Singh's wife has more assets of Rs 68.52 crore, compared to her husband, who declared Rs 62 crore. They have two vehicles on their names with a Mercedes on the name of his wife. New entrant in politics, real estate developer Sanjay Seth has an asset of Rs 63 crore with Rs 47.80 crore on the name Sanjay and remaining Rs 15.38 crore on the name of his wife. Surprisingly, the real state developer has no vehicle on his name or his wife's name. But, he has the liability of over Rs 25 crore. Two time MP from Allahabad Reoti Raman Singh has an asset of Rs 6.54 crore in his name with an SUV on his name. SP candidate Surendra Singh Nagar has an assets of Rs 44.92 crore. He has no vehicle on his name while has a dairy on the brand name of Paras. Assets of former union minister Beni Prasad Verma was around Rs 7 crore with his two houses worth Rs six crore. He has two vehicles. SP candidate Sukhram Singh has assets worth Rs 6.50 crore and two vehicles. He also has four firearms, including an SLR.
