Allahabad HC issues notice to UP govt for not allowing Owaisi to hold rally

26A66B3200000578-2995000-image-a-129_1426377061959Allahabad, Jul 20 - The Allahabad High Court today issued notice against Uttar Pradesh government and district administration of Allahabad for not giving permission to All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen Musilmeem's president Mohammad Asadudeen Owaisi to hold a rally. The court led by justice Rakesh Tiwari and Mukhtar Ahmad while hearing the petition filed by Afsar Ahmad ordered the bodies concerned to file their replies within four weeks. In the petition it was alleged that Mr Owaisi is not being given the permission due to political pressure. Mr Ahmad in his petition also mentioned that the entire episode of not giving the permission for rally has been fabricated due to Muslim vote bank. The next hearing of the case has been fixed for August 17.
