Lucknow:  Uttar Pradesh assembly today approved by voice vote to name the civil terminals at Agra and Gorakhpur airports on the name of BJP ideologue Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhaya and Mahayogi Gorakhnath respectively. Civil Aviation Minister Nand Gopal Gupta alias Nandi moved separately both the proposals in the Assembly which was passed by voice votes. The Minister said Pandit Upadhaya completed its study in Agra and was great literary person. Similarly, said Gorakhnath temple is a centre of Hindu religion. It was also the centre of independence movement. The minister said the new civil airport terminals will boost tourist, trade and development of the region which had been named on the great personalities. Earlier, the UP cabinet had given its nod on the naming of the two civil terminals at the Agra and Gorakhpur airports after the two personalities.
