4 Naxals killed, 1 constable injured in encounter in Chhattisgarh

Raipur : Four Naxals, including two commanders, were today killed while one District Reserve Group (DRG) constable sustained bullet injury in a fierce gunfight between security personnel and Maoists in Chhattisgarh's insurgency-affected Dantewada district, police said.
Of the four bodies recovered, two were identified as Katekalyan area committee commander Massa and Naxals' Platoon 26 commander Madkami Deve. Police also recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition, including eight rifles and 30 pithus (rucksack bags), cartridges and explosives.
DRG constable Aditya Saran, who sustained bullet injury in the waist, was flown to Jagdalpur by an Indian Air Force helicopter for treatment.
