3 students kill selves in MP after failing in examination

Bhopal : Two girl students and a boy have committed suicide in different places in Madhya Pradesh after they failed in Higher Secondary Examinations. Jyoti Ahirwar (17) set herself ablaze after pouring kerosene on her body in Minora village near this district headquarters early today. She was rushed to district hospital where she succumbed to her burns during treatment. The results of the Madhya Board of Secondary Education came out last after noon in which 69.33 per cent students passed. In another incident, Pinky (20) took the extreme step by hanging herself in her room in Betul last night. She was rushed to District Hospital where she died during treatment, the hospital sources said. Similarly, one Pawan Malviya (18) -- resident of Khajuria Javar village – in Sehore District also committed suicide by hanging himself from a mango tree after failing in the examination last night. His body was found hanging from the tree this morning. The body was sent for post-mortem, police added.
